Veg Fried Rice Recipe

Fried rice is a very popular and tasty street food recipe. this is one of our favorite Indo Chinese recipes. it requires very minimal ingredients to make and is so tasty and spicy. Fresh cut vegetables and rice tossed in spicy sauces thus make a full meal by itself.

Fried rice is super quick to make. You can eat as it is or with ketchup or with gobi Manchurian or Veg Hakka Noodles by the side.

  1. 1 cup long grain rice
  2. 1 tbsp oil
  3. ½ tbsp salt
  4. Water for soaking and boiling
  1. 2 tbsp oil
  2. 5 clove Garlic chopped
  3. ½ tbsp finely chopped gingers
  4. 2 green chili
  5. 3-4 tbsp spring onion
  6. 2 tbsp Beans chopped
  7. ½ onion (finely chopped)
  8. 2 tbsp green peas / matar
  9. ½ capsicum (finely chopped)
  10. 2 tbsp cabbage (finely chopped)
  11. ½ carrot chopped
  12. 1 pinch salt
  13. Black paper powder (as per your taste)
  14. 1 tbsp vinegar
  1. Soya sauce
  2. Red chili sauce


  1. Firstly, cook the rice and take it aside.
  2. Heat up the pan.
  3. for perfect fried rice, it is very important for the pan to be on high heat.
  4. In the pan add oil swirl it, make sure that the oil reaches every corner of the pan.
  5. After heating oil, add garlic to the pan.
  6. Garlic just a light sauce for about 20-25 seconds without browning it, add in this finely chopped onion and mix well.
  7. Add finely chopped ginger, chopped green chili and stir well none of it has to go brown just a little quick stir fry.
  8. Add finely chopped onion and finely chopped capsicum and stir well.
  9. Add finely chopped carrot, finely chopped cabbage, finely chopped beans and green peas and stir well.
  10. Make sure that vegetables should not be overcooked, Vegies should retain its crunch.
  11. Add red chili sauce and mix it well.
  12. Add salt and black paper as per your taste and mix well.
  13. Add prepared boiled rice.
  14. soya sauce spread it and mix well.
  15. Add vinegar. Toss it.
  16. Towards the end, Add to it chopped spring onions and toss it.
  17. Fried rice is ready for serving. Enjoy your veg fried rice with gobi Manchurian.


  1. You don’t really need to overcook the vegetable because the vegetable should have a good crunch.
  2. Whenever soya sauce to the fried rice adds it to the rice, not on the vegetables. The vegetables should not have a dark color.
  3. While making fried rice heating a pan is very important to give fried rice that smoky flavor.
