FOR THE RED VELVET CAKE
1+1/4 cup red velvet premix 1/2 cup water 1 tsp butter 2 tsp oil 1tsb sugar
FOR CHEESE FROSTING
1 tsb cheese cream 1 cup whip topping cream 1/4 cup sugar powder red food colour
TO MAKE THE RED VELVET CAKE
In a pan take 1-2 cup sand or salt and preheat for 10-15 minutes. In a bowl take red velvet premix and ½ cup of water and stir it frequently. Add oil and mix well. Now take any shape of mould grease it with butter or oil. Place the butter paper in a mould. Pour the mixture into the mould and tap the mould for removing air voids in the mixture. Place the mold in a preheated pan. Cover the lid and heat it for 30-40 minutes on a low flame. After 30-40 minutes check the cake with a toothpick into the center of the cake and it should come out clean. Once the cake is out of the pan/oven, let them rest in their pans for about 20 minutes. Take a bowl and add sugar and water and combine well to make the sugar syrup.
FOR CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
Take cheese cream in a bowl and stir well. Add 1 cup of whip topping cream and combine well. Add sugar powder and mix well with an electric mixer to beat that at high speed for about a minute or until it’s smooth and lightened in colour. It takes a minute or two for the butter and sugar to come together and you just wanna keep mixing until the sugar is moistened with the butter.
FOR ASSEMBlLE THE CAKE
Transfer the cake to a plate and divide the cake layer.-* Grease the sugar syrup over the cake layer. Fill the prepared frosting in a plastic bag cut the bag down Spread that evenly to the edges of the cake. Place the top with your second cake layer, place it upside down so that you have the smoothest, most even surface for the top. and spread the sugar syrup on the cake. Spread the frosting on the second layer and all over the cake. Wipe the base of the cake platter with a paper towel. In remaining frosting add 2 drop red colours and combine well until uniformly red colour. Fill the red frosting into a piping bag, fitted with a large open star tip and arrange the flowers on the cake or decorate with as per your choice.
You can store leftover red velvet cake in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. Frost the cake only after it cooled completely else the frosting will melt.
